Wood Ash With Brown forest soil As The Growth Regulator For Acacia

Abstract


The objective of the present work is to study the influence of Wood ash on agriculture so as to develop a practical approach for enhancing the crop yield. The ash was obtained from the Charcoal shop and the work had been carried in Department of Biology of the University Vall. The study was done with plant ACACIA. A comparative study has been done by using Wood ash and Straw ash as control. Brown forest soil was with the ashes for the work. Brown forest soil with Wood ash gave the best result. The Brown forest soil alone gave the poorest result. Wood ash increases the rate of growth by 20% as compared to the Straw ash as control and about 40% as compared to the soil alone.
